Kotar edge strips

The edge tape is designed for use in floating floors instalation. It separates the floor, performing the function of dilation. The width of the tape depends on the thickness of component layers of the floor and should be so selected that the edge of tape stick over the primer after its flooding. After the primer has been flooded and hardened, the excess of edge tape should be cut off with knife.

Notched KOTAR edge strip

The strip is made of foamed polyethylene LDPE of min. density 25 kg/m3, 8 mm thick, 15 cm wide, available in two lengths: 25 or 50 m. The strip has five notches spaced 1 cm from the upper edge, to enable pulling the excess of the strip protruding over the floor surface.

Collective package contains 150 m (6 coils of 25 m each), or 250 m (5 coils of 50 m each).

Notched KOTAR edge strip with overlap

Strip of the structure as the notched KOTAR strip, with additionally attached overlap, made of PE foil, 25 cm wide, which serves as a covering for the joint between the horizontal insulation (edge strip) and the vertical one (e.g. IZOROL pads).

Collective package contains 150 m (6 coils of 25 m each), or 250 m (5 coils of 50 m each).

Self-adhesive edge strip

Self-adhesive edge strip exist as strip with overlap and notches as well as only with notches.

On the tape from the outward put is the belt of the glue - width about 3cm snug a layer of the silicon paper. Layer of the glue has the assignment of edge strip assembling facilitation during fixing floating floors.
